"The fastest way to increase HBCU competitiveness is by forming partnerships. By providing partnerships with our schools who have been doing this work for years, we can build capacity"
-John Rosenthall, President TCRDF
About
The Tougaloo College Research and Development Foundation (TCRDF) was established in 2016 to build the capacity of Tougaloo College and other HBCUs in federal research and contracting. Through the years, TCRDF has evolved to focus on three specific areas: Strengthening Knowledge Transfer and Relationships; Cultivating and Managing True Partnerships; and Preparing HBCU and MSI students for internships and ultimately civilian careers in the Federal Government. Through signature programs like 30 Minutes With and Generally Speaking, TCRDF strengthens knowledge transfer and relationships while cultivating and managing true partnerships. Our HBCU/MSI Academy prepares HBCU and MSI students for internships and ultimately civilian careers in the Federal Government.

A Message from one of our supporters:
Mr. Rosenthall:
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how much we at AAMU-RISE appreciate the efforts of you and the TCRDF team, in support of the HBCU community!
As the contracting entity for AAMU, an HBCU in Huntsville, AL, you have proven invaluable in our efforts to secure funding with DoD through the various UARC programs. The multiple outreach programs that you have hosted over the past few years have helped us build a foundational network of resources in the UARC community that have led to the award of multiple contract task orders to AAMU-RISE.
Thank you for your efforts in support of AAMU-RISE, and the greater HBCU ecosystem. We look forward to continuing and expanding our relationship with you and TCRDF!
Best regards,
Andrew Scott
